From Blank Canvas to Home: Transforming a London House
Often, the biggest hurdle for new homeowners is not only the property search itself, but the creation of a comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing home afterwards. A young family in London placed their trust in us to transform their newly constructed house. The space consisted of a living room, two bedrooms, and a home office – all bare and full of promise.
The Starting Point: Empty Space, Full of Potential
The family desired a sense of warmth and harmony, but were unsure how to achieve it. Our solution was to breathe life into the space with a nature-inspired concept and contemporary design accents.

The Living Room: A Balance Between Nature and Contemporary Accents.
At the core of the house lies the living room, a space where natural materials and contemporary design elements intertwine. Soft textures, natural wood furnishings, and organic accents contribute to a sense of warmth and comfort, while touches of green and flourishing plants bring the outdoors in. These natural elements and plants create a sense of calm and connection with nature, balancing the space, softening harsh lines, and adding freshness. Deep blue cushions and a blanket further enhance the sense of depth and peacefulness. A welcoming reading nook was also incorporated, offering a perfect retreat for enjoying a good book and a steaming cup of tea on a rainy afternoon.

The Master Bedroom: Relaxation and Tranquility
The master bedroom continues the theme of natural materials and dark blue accents. The dark blue visually enhances the space while creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere, ideal for rest. Combined with lighter tones and natural materials, the dark blue provides depth and contrast, adding sophistication and balance. An elegant dressing table was incorporated to meet the lady’s needs.

The Guest Bedroom
The guest bedroom offers a simple yet inviting atmosphere. Here, we followed the same principle of blue and beige, but in the opposite combination. The accent blue wall adds character, and the wooden bed frame creates warmth. The space is suitable for both short stays and longer visits.

The Office: From a Dark Corner to a Productive Nook
Prior to the redesign, the home office was a dark and cramped space, with the young family expressing a need for more storage solutions. After our transformation, the office became spacious and well-lit. The furniture manufacturing was entrusted to the carpenters from company D.A. Greenwood in London, who executed the order impeccably and down to the last detail. We added a large L-shaped desk and additional storage, which allows both owners to work efficiently. The revitalized office not only caters to their practical requirements for productivity but also fosters a welcoming and inspiring environment. The clients expressed that this room has undergone the most dramatic transformation – evolving from the least desirable space in their home to their absolute favorite!

The End Result: A Home Brought to Life
The transformation of this house shows how a new build can become a home with the right approach. The combination of natural elements and modern accents provided the family with not only aesthetics but also coziness and practicality. This is more than just a house; it is a sanctuary where cherished memories will be made, children will grow, and life will unfold.
